Jessica Simpson shows off post-baby body after dropping 60 pounds since giving birth in May

Written By InPersonAdmin on Monday, November 19, 2012 | 1:36 PM

Singer and 'Fashion Star' mentor used Weight Watchers and personal trainer to get back in fantastic shape

Jessica Simpson has completed her comeback.

The 32-year-old singer turned fashion designer dropped 60 pounds since the birth of daughter Maxwell Drew in May, showing off her svelte look over the weekend at a Tampa, Fla., event for her clothing line.

Dressed in ripped jeans and a pink jacket, Simpson quieted a lot of naysayers with her stunning turn on the red carpet.

Simpson had waged a very public battle against the bulge, and confessed to USA Today in September that she had trouble curbing the cravings she developed during pregnancy.

“My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel," she told the newspaper. "I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancĂ© and herself."

But Simpson - who’s engaged to former 49ers tight end Eric Johnson - has made an enormous amount of progress even since unveiling her post-baby body on “Katie” that same month.

Her stream-lined look is credited to celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who has previously helped whip Megan Fox into shape. Simpson is also a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, an experience that she says has improved her eating habits.
